Fees for In-Person Divorce Mediation Services:

Level 1 In-Person Fees: No Children Involved...

$400.00 each party – $800 total – if you have: no children, no claims for alimony or other support, own no real estate and have agreed on how you will deal with debts and personal property; includes one (1) hour of mediation time.

Level 2 In-Person Fees: Children Involved w/o Alimony or Child Support Claims...

$700.00 each party – $1,400 total – if you have: children and have agreed on a parenting plan, time sharing and child support; there are no claims for alimony or other support; you own real estate and have agreed on how it is to be divided; and, you have agreed on how you will deal with debts and personal property; includes up to two (2) hours of mediation time.

Level 3 In-Person Fees: Children Involved and/or Real Estate to Divide...

$1200 each party – $2,400 total – if you have children and have not agreed on a parenting plan, time sharing or child support; if there are unresolved issues concerning alimony or other support; or if you own real estate but have not agreed on how it is to be divided; includes up to four (4) hours of mediation time

Fees  for Online Video Conferencing Divorce Mediation Services:

Level 1 Online Fees: No Children Involved...

$250.00 each party – $500 total – if you have: no children, no claims for alimony or other support, own no real estate and have agreed on how you will deal with debts and personal property; includes one (1) hour of mediation time

Level 2 Online Fees: Children Involved w/o Alimony or Child Support Claims...

$550.00 each party – $1,100 total – if you have: children and have agreed on a parenting plan, time sharing and child support; there are no claims for alimony or other support; you own real estate and have agreed on how it is to be divided; and, you have agreed on how you will deal with debts and personal property; includes up to two (2) hours of mediation time

Level 3 Online Fees: Children Involved and/or Real Estate to Divide...

$1,050 each party – $2,100 total – if you have children and have not agreed on a parenting plan, time sharing or child support; if there are unresolved issues concerning alimony or other support; or if you own real estate but have not agreed on how it is to be divided; includes up to four (4) hours of mediation time

All of the above plans include assisting you in preparing the divorce forms required by the court in your particular situation. These are all non-refundable flat fees except if you are unable to finish the mediation portion within the allotted of time. In that case, you will pay only for each additional hour of mediation time ($275.00/ hour.) Filing fees and any other court costs are not included.

If it becomes clear to me that there is no realistic chance that further mediation will produce an agreement, I will, if you agree, help you put in writing the issues you have agreed on so that you will need a judge to rule on only the issues that you have been unable to resolve.

Cancellation Charge

I am a full time mediator. In the event mediation is cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled date, I charge the party requesting the cancellation a 1 hour cancellation fee, will be deducted from the mediation time you have paid for in advance. If both parties request the cancellation, each party will be billed for a pro rata portion of the cancellation fee. I do so because under those circumstances, there is no realistic opportunity for me to schedule a mediation to fill the time I have committed to your case (much like an empty seat on an airplane after the doors close.) Of course, if I am able to schedule a mediation on the reserved day, no fee will be due from you.
